ok, so he doesn't like being called grandpa....but i am now living with him...and for the most part i am not tortured by that big new dog that my mom brought home. I actually thought he was ok, but apparantly after my mom and i moved out, grandpa missed having me around. And every once in a while they come over here together. IT is a little confusing when she leaves, cause i am use to leaving with her....but they tell me i get to stay and i like that anyway. So i am here, and loving all the ball throwing! There are so many things to chase that grandpa's arm even got sore from throwing them all for me....what a great pal. He takes me out in his truck and we hunt for those two wheeled car like things that make a ton of noise...i am real good at barking at them and chasing them away from us. Grandpa thought it would be fun to go on somehting he called a hike - but i am not a big fan of all that exercise...unless it is chasing after a ball....now that is my cup of tea!

Well it has been 6 months since i have come to live with my mom..i moved to live with her and her dad in Salinas. It was so fun having two people to play ball with all the time. And really i will chase anything..it doesnt have to be a ball.
mom and i went to the SPCA obedience classes and i learned how to sit and lie down and i get treats for doing this. mom also thinks its really funny that i know how to shake and dance.
We recently moved to monterey and i get to go to the beach almost every day and chase tennis balls into the waves. All those dogs at the beach are in such a random formation, i have taken it upon myself to become the offical organizer of all the dogs...i am part cogi afterall it is just in my blood. Mom cuts my hair short so all the sand doesn't get caught in long hair. Even with the short 'do i still need a shower after each time at the beach...i don't mind so much.
Twice a week i go to day care, and i love it. I do have to wear a citronella collar beacsuse i love to bark so much..mom says it works so well that she has even gotten me one to wear at home - hopefully, i won't have to wear it forever. sometimes "training" isn't all about getting treats.
I have a new big brother who wants to play and play all day long...he is still young. i have been showing him that even though he is bigger i am the BIG brother so i won't play with him yet. don't tell him - but i can't wait to drop this act.
mom says that soon i might go live with grandpa fulltime...that way i can play ball all the time, and i can go motorcycle hunting. i like the one on one attention, and mom says my brother would like a big dog to play with...sounds like i get it pretty good.
