Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

Gotcha Date:
August 8th 2005

Daisy just loves to be hugged and petted. Her eyes close and she actually purrs when you pet her head.

She attacks the vacuum cleaner. It's her only pet peeve but it's a doosie.

Favorite Toy:
Daisy has a treat dog that talks. When she turns it over treats come out of the dogs belly and it says: "Hello Daisy, Daisy want a cookie?" She mastered this toy in a few minutes and can empty out the toy in 15 minutes.

Favorite Food:
Daisy has no favorite food -- she scarfs down whatever is put in front of her. She loves everything! We call her Hoover!

Favorite Walk:
Daisy doesn't do "walks." She goes out to do her "business" and wants to go right back inside. It's a bulldog thing.

Best Tricks:
She stands up and dances. It's so cute--I have pictures.

Arrival Story:
I like to think that Butchie sent Daisy to me. Butchie made his journey to the Rainbow Bridge in July and Daisy came into my life in August.

Daisy was used as a "breeder" and kept in a cage for most of her life. Her owners didn't think that her puppies were "show" quality so after several litters they just dumped her into a rescue organization. When we got her home we noticed that she never stretched out but would tighten her body up to use as little space as she could. This used to break my heart. She had never been allowed on the furniture and never tasted "people" food in her life. The first time she got on the couch and stretched out it brought tears to my eyes because I was so happy that she finally realized that she was in her forever home and that she could stretch out all she wanted whenever she wanted. Daisy will never be put in a cage again. And the look in her eyes the first time she tasted a piece of cheese was priceless. I love making this little girl happy.

Daisy's Song

I like to shake my booty
Because I'm such a cutie.
I wiggle, wiggle, wiggle,
And I jiggle, jiggle, jiggle.
But when the day is done
I laugh 'cuz I've had such fun,
And at night when I rest my head
On Mom and Dad's sleigh bed,
I pray my soul to keep
And go dancing in my sleep!

Christmas is FUN!

I am so lucky because that bearded man named Santie Paws came to my house and left me so many surprises and treats. I never heard of Santie Paws before but my sister Heidi told me all about him and my Mommy and Daddy were acting all funny like they knew something that I didn't know.

On Christmas morning my Mom made me wear a red velvet bandana with white fur on it and we sat by the Christmas tree and she gave me gifts to open. Since I never had a real Christmas before I didn't know how to open the gifts but I caught on real quick. There were toys and treats and balls and squeeky things all for me. I was in heaven. I didn't know what to play with first so I played with everything. I got so pooped out from chasing balls and squeeking toys that I plopped down in the middle of the living room and fell asleep. When I woke up I thought it was all a dream but it was real and all the toys and treats were still there. I wish Christmas came every day!

Yesterday we had visitors and I got more gifts...WOW! A little boy came over and we got to play and I had so much fun. I think I am the happiest little girl in the world. Last night I had a bellyache from eating too many goodies and my Mom rubbed my belly all night till I fell asleep. She cradled me in her arms and when I woke up I was all better. Moms are magical.
