My Illness

I was recently very ill. I was throwing up for a few days and wouldn't eat anything. I was lathargic, which is hard to notice since I am a bit slow anyway. Well, I am getting up there in years, I'll be 13 in Oct, so this illness was causing me and my family a fright. We went to the vet and they did blood tests and took x-rays. They found out I had an infection and the x-ray showed something even more scary, a large mass under my stomach. Oh man, now we were really scared. I had to go to a speciality hospital and stay away from my family. It was terrible!!!!!

Well, they did an ultrasound and discovered a pyloric mass, I think that is what they called it. Anyway didn't sound good, surgery was mentioned and someother horrible option I won't even say. Well, we all determined that I was too old for surgery and the surgery was very dangerous and the outcome would be very uncertain. So they fed me a meal and I ate it right up. I guess the antibotics I had been taken were working. I was feeling like my ol' self again. Toys were fun, the ladies were looking good, Scooter was back!

I don't know how long I will be feeling good or what the future holds for me health wise, but I know as long as I am eating well and enjoying life there is no problem in my mind!!

I will keep you updated, diary, as things change day to day, but right now I feeling like rolling around on the carpet so I will sign off and do just that!
