Arrival Story:
we were looking in the paper for a dog and found an ad for a purebred Germeran shepherd who had one front leg missing and desperately need a home as no one wanted him.

Bio:
He has been mistreated in the past and now has a permanent skin problem. He also has blunt teeth and the person who we got him from had spent a lot of money on him as he was in a bad way when she got him. She could not keep him as thier pool was not fenced and he would throw his kong in an go in after it, he could not get out due to having only one front leg. Also her other dog was jealous as she had had an operation and was not allowed to play. It is with great sadness that I had to put Jackson down on the 29th of Decmber 2005. He was diagnosed with cancer at the base of his inner ear which was cause him great pain and making him unstable at times on his legs. We had him for two great years where he recived great love and lots of care for his skin conditon and other problems. He is greatly missed and we hope he is in a better place and no longer in pain.
