Running around my 5 acre desert yard w/ my brother, or better yet-chasing the kitties!

Arrival Story:
Mabel is deaf. We got her from the same wonderful breeder we got her Brother Ted from. They sent us a photo and we fell in love and counted the days till we could pick her up. They let us know soon after that they thought she may be deaf and asked if we still wanted her. With a bit of research, we decided we could handle it and couldn't imagine passing up such a lovely puppy for a handicap and she became a part of our family.

Bio:
She is the sweetest girl in the whole world! She caught on very quickly to sign language (her first sentence was "NO, you pee pee outside!" We used that one a lot!) and her big bro was a big help in training her. I'm so happy we decided to get her and urge others, if they have a loving home and patience, to give dogs with special needs a chance. She has brought so much joy into our lives and I couldn't imagine life without her.
