Arrival Story: Shelby was rescued from the local shelter after being found tied to a post with no food nor water. She was bald in spots and when I entered her ward run, she crawled submissively onto my lap.....I contacted my Mom and she readily adopted this sweet little girl.
Aside from occasional mild allergies Shelby's been a healthy girl until this past year. In the spring of 2006 she had a corneal abrasion (scratched her eye on a hawethorne berry tree with large needles)...after 2 surgeries and endless daily meds, her sight has been salvaged....she's and expensive delight but, will no longer be off-leash chasing deer.
