too many people in one room to round up

imitation...eg: if I lift my right arm, she lifts hers......
Shelby was rescued from the local shelter after being found tied to a post with no food nor water. She was bald in spots and when I entered her ward run, she crawled submissively onto my lap.....I contacted my Mom and she readily adopted this sweet little girl.
Aside from occasional mild allergies Shelby's been a healthy girl until this past year. In the spring of 2006 she had a corneal abrasion (scratched her eye on a hawethorne berry tree with large needles)...after 2 surgeries and endless daily meds, her sight has been salvaged....she's and expensive delight but, will no longer be off-leash chasing deer.
Dearest Shelby crossed Rainbow Bridge in Jan. 2008, after a short battle with acute renal failure; she was only 11 years, 3 months old--she refused her Christmas dinner, (which was unheard for her); bld work showed her kidney enzymes had skyrocketed, so we tried dialysis for a few days, but, it only worked short term- we brought her home for a night while she was feeling better, gave her whatever she wanted to eat and lots of love and attention; all of her family came to say good bye to our sweet girl, and before she experienced any pain or discomfort, we took her to the Vet where she was helped to cross the bridge. Sometimes, I swear I can still here her toe nails on the kitchen floor when I in bed at night...we will see you again one day...miss you so much....XOXOXOXOXO
