Happy Birthday Party

I'm so excited. M-- is celebrating her birthday and there is cake, gifts and presents. All that happiness is catching and I can't stop smiling! Of course, I know that this is all about me.
I like birthdays much better than Halloween. M-- got me a penguin costume. I wore it long enough to take a photo, and then I wiggled out of it. I preferred a halloween bandana around my neck as I took up my post, alerting M-- when trick-or-treaters came to the door.
I just don't understand why M-- would give chocolate to strangers but not to me! It smells so good. I did get a new jack-o-lantern doll to play with. He is my new favorite for playing chase, but no matter where I bite him, he won't make any noise. I think every doll ought to come with a squeaker.
Hey, look at this. Leroy gave me a rosette. It doesn't smell like anything, but M-- says its a very nice thing that doggie friends do for each other.
Thanks Leroy. You look just like my freind, Snowie. She used to live across the street until her cancer came back. I miss her, so it is nice to find a new pal who looks like her. You have a terrific smile.
Wow, after all this excitement I need a nap. I prefer the foot of the waterbed where it is warm, but I can press my back against the footboard. I hope all my pup pals have a nice warm place to sleep.
