Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
September 16th 1999

Likes:
Sniffing on walks/hikes, pretending to get lost on said walks/hikes and then racing to me when I call, peeing on the world, eating, back and neck massages, sleeping back-t0-back with me, licking my armpits (yikes!), belly rubs, seeing his human friends.

Pet-Peeves:
Getting brushed/bathed; if I sit at my desk too long (I get woofed at); if I'm not ready to go to bed when he is (I get woofed at).

Favorite Toy:
Rawhides, soft squeaking rubber balls, crawling insects (he follows them around, paws at them, picks them up in his mouth, rolls them around on his tongue, spits them out to see what they'll do next).

Favorite Food:
Peanut butter, grapes, carrots. Really, anything except wasabi and habanero salsa.

Favorite Walk:
City Creek Canyon, downtown SLC.

Best Tricks:
He is not a fetching dog (he has to be in the mood), but he will often toss his own toys into the air and then try to catch them or chase them down.

Arrival Story:
Purchased from breeder in Grand Ledge, Michigan.

Bio:
He's very suspicious of all strangers at first, especially men. He'll growl and give them wide berth. But after 2 or 3 meetings, he starts recognizing the person and greeting them with a happy bark or a "greeting growl" (which sounds more like he's buzzing his lips). Ears go down, butt wags. You can always tell when he's rounded the corner and embraced that person as a bosom buddy. And although he doesn't like meeting strangers, he sure likes observing them, as long as they don't notice him. When we're out and about, sometimes he'll stop in his tracks and watch somebody across the street very intently for about 15 seconds, as though he's trying to figure out what they're doing. Then at some point he's satisfied, and we go on our way.

Forums Motto:
Eat first, ask questions later.

Sounds and gestures I make::
SOUNDS: mmmmfff. aahROWrah. bufff. eirEIN, eirEIN! GESTURES: Cold nose in my face in the morning to make me flinch. Also smacking me with that nose, ala bottle-nosed dolphin. Rocking back and forth on his front feet when he's got my attention and I'm staring at him, waiting for him to tell me what he wants. Craning his neck to look around corners.
