A Few Tips I Choose To Live By...

So living life as Miss Queen Bee is sometimes very hard, it takes a lot of effort AND smarts to get things just so, therefore I decided to write out a list for all to follow:

#1 - NEVER go pee or poo if it is raining, windy, snowy, or cold - hold it until the weather is better no matter how much your mom begs you to go do your "business".

#2 - Lick your bum on the couch where mom and dad sit only - then when you're done (after the couch is nice and damp) move to your dry, comfy doggie bed.

#3 - NEVER perform for free. Always demand food (cheese is especially good). If you do eventually decide to do as asked, be sure to sigh VERY loudly beforehand and then do it as slowly as possible.

#4 - When playing be sure to be as loud and crazy sounding as you can.

#5 - Try to avoid bathtime. Go hide, pretend your legs are broken and you can't walk, and if all else fails, look very very sad - this may not work (they are often persistent) so be sure to be near tears (if we could make them) while having your bath. After bath time make sure to get everything wet (including mom) and dry yourself on everything in sight. Anything belonging to mom is preferable.

#6 - Try to escape out the door whenever unwise visitors arrive. Be sure to run like a crazed lunatic as FAST as doggily possible and don't listen to their calls to return. (Only return with the promise of 2 suppers and/or a car ride).

#7 - Water such as lakes, ponds, oceans & pools is not to swim in. It is your own personal toilet. Be sure to use it frequently.

#8 - After mom gives you your supper, go lay down and wait for dad to arrive. When he does, go sit by your bowl and look starved. If you are lucky, you will get 2 suppers.

#9 - NEVER chase cats - they are wonderful animals who produce yummy twinkies from their bums.

#10 - Lastly, always give kisses & tail wags to everyone. :)

My Big Chance To Become FAMOUS!

So mom told me the news today, I'm SOOOO excited... are you ready? A REPORTER is coming to do a full page story on ME tomorrow!!!!!............. ok, maybe not just me........ ok, maybe not really me at all... They are doing a feature on mom's doggie lodge business, BUT I will be there to help give the tour AND I will be looking my prettiest, with my super special occasion pink bandana (absolutely need to match my pretty pink collar you know). I will strike my poses and be SURE to place myself in all the shots they take for the paper - this is my big chance, tomorrow is the first day on my way to being a STAR!!!! I am so excited!! Who knows, maybe I will be asked to be in a commercial next, wouldn't that be the BESTEST! I am so pretty, and so shiny, I just about sparkle I do......... Ok, I know I know... I'm getting a bit carried away...................... who am I kidding, NO I'M NOT!!!

*Sniff Sniff* I smell FALL!!

SO I went outside today, and it wasn't quite the same tanning weather as it has been for the past few months... it was COOL out!!! NOOOOO! I know what that means, I've been on this earth for 4 years and I know that when it gets that smell... you know, the smell of leaves, that dreadful WINTER is coming!!! No more tanning!! :'(
That said...... I do enjoy a good roll in piles of leaves, that always feels SOOO good... AAAND cooler days means I can wear all my super cool looking sweaters & coats... I do love the first snowfall, I like to eat the snow and catch snowballs, that's fun... but not for too long cause my toes get cold... Sigh, though I love parts of all the seasons, I truely am a summer beach babe.

Spring is finally here!

FINALLY spring is here... it's about time... I have been waiting for MONTHS to start tanning again and I finally was able to this weekend. It was so nice out, I got a nice tan I did. Mum and Auntie Kate even took me and Cypris for a walk. I didn't want to go far, my foot was getting sore, I had to keep stopping for "breaks", I just wanted to lay out and tan, no need for walks!
