Pretending he's deaf. He will also pretend to "relax" in the patio area wating for everyone to go inside, then he'll take off and escape into the neighborhood.

Arrival Story:
A rescue group in Albuquerque New Mexico thought I was looking for a female puppy when in fact I wanted a male. Elvis was found under an abandoned car suffering from Parvo. He was able to bounce back from Parvo, but had to remain in the hospital until I could drive up and see him two days later. I was happy to pay what I could in addition to the standard adoption fee. He howled almost the entire way home for 3.5 hours. "Ain't nuthin, but a hound dog" was on the radio so I named him Elvis.

Bio:
Elvis has become much more confident although he is still shy towards strangers. You won't be a stranger long if you have doggie treats in your pocket! Once you become a friend, he's a super dog. He also loves to play rough especially if he's getting pushed into the dirt or at the bottom of the dogpile. He likes to puposely aggravate Roxie so she'll beat-up on him. I have bent lamps and broken furniture as a result...
