Arrival Story:
Nugget came to us from the AWA shelter. He is a special needs dog with Addison's disease. His whole story and personal notes on his life can be found on his website http://nugget.jimthwaite.com
Bio:
But since we haven't updated that in awhile, I thought I would update this site instead. Nugget has gone through a couple different types of training, but is still aggressive, especially when his mommy is around. But he does know how to sit and lay down and does walk pretty good on a leash. His Addison's Disease seems completely stabilized at this point, and we can't thank the vet enough for saving his life a number of times on his way to being stable. Still chasing the cats (that are his size) and gets into an occasional barking match with his brother, Ricky, over who gets the better lap space when it's time to dogpile on mommy. Life is good for the Nugget!
