Arrival Story:
Bailey was adopted out of a local shelter as a puppy, by her previous owner, and kept in a backyard kennel for the first 7 months of her life. She was then returned to the SPCA because she was high energy and reportedly jumped too much. I adopted her days before she was going to be put down at 8 months. On my first trip to the shelter, I overlooked her, thinking I wanted a male and thought she was too small. But her personality and her demeanor won me over. Now, I can't imagine life without her. She's an AWESOME dog, a great companion, and my best friend.

Bio:
Bailey is amazingly smart and took up the hand and verbal commands that we learned in obedience training very quickly.. even some that I didn't teach her.
