Cindy, Cindy Sue, Cin, Mama, Mama Bean, Basaloo

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Sun Sign:
Quick Bio:

June 1st 1997

The COUCH, playing catch, going to the Bark Park and sneaking apples from the apple trees. I also like to shop for new bandanas. I have probably 40+!

When Ditto won't leave me alone and I am trying to sleep; and when I'm told to get off the couch by the MAN!

Favorite Toy:
The Flying Squirrel! It's like a frisbee, but it's soft so I don't break it and it goes really far!

Favorite Food:
Hungry?!?! Did somebody say hungry?!?! I really LOVE apples! (and psst...don't tell Mom about my addiction to kitty crunchies...shhhh). And I like peanut butter and cookies (the doggie chocolate chip kind) and ummm, bread, I like bread too!

Favorite Walk:
Walk?!? Did somebody say WALK?!?! Come on, come on, come on, come on, let's go, let's go, let's go!!!! I love going to the dog park and I love going on all the nature trails around here.

Best Tricks:
I can catch my Flying Squirrel really good, in the mouth every time! Mom is always so impressed. I know all the other boring stuff like sit, stay, come, heel, down, back, yada yada yada (and I know them in German and English)...and hand signals.

Arrival Story:
Mom says I am the best thing that came out of a relationship gone bad. LOL He got the the appliances and Mom fought hard for me! I was only 9 weeks old at the time but we were meant to be. We've been through more men than either of us can count (well, Mom anyway...I can't count) and her motto will always be "Cinder was here before you and will be here long after you're gone." My grandma says we're kindred spirits.

I used to do agility trials until my poor 'ol hips got to hurtin' me too bad. Then it just made Mom said to see how I was stiff the next day after a competition and we stopped going. We still do the frisbee meets though because those aren't so hard on me and I do really good! I may not be that fast anymore, but Mom and me are like a well-oiled machine and I always catch the frisbee for her. (I was a Champ in my day but Mom says it's not lady like to toot your own horn.) I am also a Canine Good Citizen and have been since I was 9 months old (sorry Mom - that deserves TOOTIN'.)

Wowsers! It's been many dog years since I've made a diary entry. We've had a really ruff couple years. The MAN was very bad to us and we had to get out of Dodge. We are all in safe places now; Mom, me and the felines. We moved back to Nebraska, our native state, to be closer to our pack.

Mom and me are in Lincoln. Mom can't have pets right now at the place she is staying, but she'll be moving out in a few months so we can all be together. I am staying with this AWESOME couple, Adam and Andrea! They are the bestest! I have a sister now. Her name is Sunny. She is 3 and a yellow Lab. She is so sweet. We play and sleep together. My foster mom Andrea says we are the laziest play dogs she has ever seen. I say we are just being lady-like. I have a new brother cat too, his name is Shiner. He sometimes swats at me from his perch on the couch, just 'cause he feels like it, not 'cause I deserve it. But I still like him.

Bandit and Ditty are with Grandma and Grandpa. They like it there a lot 'cause Grandma has four other cats and two birds. Ditty is causin' lots of hate and discontent. Mom's baby sister, Myrissa who is 13 adores him and wants to keep him. I think we might have to kidnap him to get him back. Of course, the little butterfly dogs are there too which Ditty floor slams. That's funny!

Sunny has never been to the Dog Park before!?! Can you believe that!? Mom is gonna take us today. It's really nice outside, almost 50. There are two dog parks here. I'm so excited. Maybe I can talk Mom into taking us to PetsMart too...

Sloppy kisses,

May Showers?!

We know that April showers bring May flowers, but what do May showers bring???

Bored doggies!

It is really nasty outside here today (well, this whole stupid week really). There is even a wind advisory for this area. We can't believe how cold it is again. So needless to say we are not outside much these days and we're getting bored! Sure we wrestle and play in the house but it's not the same as being outside all day with Mom and watching all of the birds and vermin in the yard. We even had another raccoon get the bird fat that is supposed to be for the birds! BOL! Mom wasn't too happy. Can't blame the 'ol coons though, that bird fat is tasty (shhh, don't tell Mom I've sampled it).

Well, everyone else wants on the 'puter to update their diaries too, so I gotta run.

You heard it kids.

Once lost - Now found.

No - the felines did not get the best of me. We've just been a tad busy around these parts and going through a lot of changes in our household. I'll fill you in on all that in later entries.

I just wanted to make a quick note and say hello - I'm back and well and missing you all very much!

I hope to update my page soon. There have been some great changes to Dogster and so many new faces!

Sloppy kisses,
