Likes: Snuggling, Tug-o-War (& hanging in mid air with her death grip jaw) Loves to climb on Mackenzie's back like she's a mountain (Mt. Mackenzie?) & she loves to wrestle with Dexter the cat (more like torment & torture...poor Dex)
Pet-Peeves: Nail clipping is THE worst! and....She wishes SO badly that she could jump high enough to get at Dexter when he is escaping her wrath
Favorite Toy: SOCKS, preferably not clean ones *yuk* anything soft with a squeek that she can open & eat the fuzzy stuffing.... or strings & foozles from anything...Someday she'll poop out a whole sweater!
Favorite Food: Human Baby "Graduates" Puffs, Peanutbutter, and anything on a human plate
Favorite Walk: Daisy prefers to be carried... but she gets excited to go onthe golf cart at the campground.
Best Tricks: Daisy knows 3 tricks.. "SIT" , "STAY" and she also "Twirl Dances" for treats.
Arrival Story: Daisy came to live with us in Dec. 2003. Her birth family lives in Duluth, MN way up north. (we live in Southern MN)
I had a few names picked out... Faith, Sunshine, Grace, Daisy... but since her Momma's name is also Daisy, it was just meant to be! We went to visit her at 5 weeks of age, & i'd like to say it was love at first sight, but we loved her long before that day.
When she came to her first family event, her Auntie Kathy had a puppy baby shower for her! With a dogbone shaped cake (for the humans) with gifts & everything!
Bio: She loves her "brother" Dexter the cat, but can not figure out why he always tries to escape her "hugs". These 2 All-Star wrestlers can drive the family nuts way into the midnight hour with their rough-housing antics. It sometimes gets violent and almost always end in doggie humps... poor Dexter.
Daisy is the sweetest Chihuahua on earth. She blows away many of the sterotypes of the typical Chihuahua. Daisy loves most everyone and has the ability to charm many people into changing their opinions about Chihuahuas... Even the toughest of guys have been caught talking baby talk to her ;) ...you know who you are!
~ Her Mom used to be strictly a 'cat' person, but now is certifiably a "crazy dog lady", all thanks to Daisy & her charm. :) People have said of Mom: "She's a bit Coo-Coo for that WaWa"
