Arrival Story:
Rufus was one of a litter of about 8 that was born in the South Central Shelter while his mother was being held as "evidence" in a court case. When the case was over, the family's time had expired at the shelter. Fortunately the whole family was rescued by a local organization. That's where we found him. His original name was "Elvis". No, we don't know what kind of evidence the mother was.
