Arrival Story:
He was a mean dog at the Humane Society but for some reason was nice to my husband one day. (we went to see him 3 times over 3 months) He was kept as an outside dog and had lost parts of his ears due to frostbite. He had to learn everything - he didn't understand steps or carpeting. He learned quickly and is wonderful with us but is also very protective. He doesn't like strangers at all but if someone is around a lot he does warm up to them. He likes all the dogs he has met - especially his "sister" Schuey. He only got aggressive once when a male was trying to get too close to me.
