Mom was off to work early today, before the crack of dawn and I gave her the best “I’m so sad I might just die if you go!” pug eyes I had and they didn’t seem to have the usual effect. She blew me a kiss and was out the door, said something about missing a train. So I cuddled up with dad under the covers.

I’m so looking forward to our new houseguest. Mommy told me that we are dog sitting another pug named Charlie – which happens to be the same name as my brother the cat, so I was a bit confused until she straightened me out. Charlie – the pug – arrives tonight and I CAN’T wait! I’ve wanted a play buddy for so long! We’ve had play dates before and we get along really well – except when the part when I have to share my toys and when Charlie kind of beats up on me and I don't stick up for myself. Mom says I need to work on that.

I’ll report back once Charlie arrives – maybe mom will post pictures.
