   Leave a bone for Ozzie

Oz, Oz Man, Boo Bah, Monkey Pug, The Kidd

Quick Bio:

Ozzie LOVES to play and be with his mommy & daddy. Nothing could make him happier than laying on the couch, chewing a greenie inbetween his two favorite people.

Ozzie doesn't really like when people pop bubble wrap - sure it's fun for you - but he gets pretty scared.

Favorite Toy:
Hands down that would be his buddy (stuffed toy with ropes for arms and legs.) Sure he's had several different ones that have made their way up to doggy toy heaven...but he loves them all!!!

Favorite Food:
Peanutbutter!!! On anything, by itself, as a side dish - he loves it!

Favorite Walk:
A round the block will do, but he really likes walking down town and stoping in to visit people he knows. We also love going to the dog park and to see his "grand parents" Grammy, Poppy, Nana and Pop Pop.

Best Tricks:
Ozzie is well known for throwing all his tricks out at once just to get your attention - he sits, then lays down, then gives hi-five, then he crawls...then the big finish - he stands up and walks on his hind legs! Deffinately deserves a treat!

Arrival Story:
Frank and I were on the "hunt" for a pug for a few months and were lucky enough to find a wonderful woman in north Jersey that had a litter of puppies. Frank and I raced up there - I think we even took the day off work - and were forced to choose just one from the most adorable little pug puppies you have ever seen! Of course I had all kinds of tests and behaviors to evaluate but it all came down to which one won our harts. Little Ozzie at 7 weeks did just that. He was so cute and was the biggest one of his brothers and sisters. It was a match made in heaven.

Ozzie is "all pug" and certainly lives up to the calling of being energetic and loving all at the same time! He is such a clown and makes us laugh everyday! One of his favorite "games" is to shove his head into a particular toy and run around the house showing off his new helmet! It's too funny! He loves to wrestle with his feline brother Charlie - all out WWF in our living room! Usually we break it up and save for Charlie from the mauling, but sometimes Charlie is the instigator. The other kitty in the house, Hastings, is much to civilized to play with the snorty little pug. On occasion Hastings might give Ozzie a quick grooming but that's as far as it goes. We love our Ozzie and are so thankful that we have him in our lives.

The Houseguest

Mom was off to work early today, before the crack of dawn and I gave her the best “I’m so sad I might just die if you go!” pug eyes I had and they didn’t seem to have the usual effect. She blew me a kiss and was out the door, said something about missing a train. So I cuddled up with dad under the covers.

I’m so looking forward to our new houseguest. Mommy told me that we are dog sitting another pug named Charlie – which happens to be the same name as my brother the cat, so I was a bit confused until she straightened me out. Charlie – the pug – arrives tonight and I CAN’T wait! I’ve wanted a play buddy for so long! We’ve had play dates before and we get along really well – except when the part when I have to share my toys and when Charlie kind of beats up on me and I don't stick up for myself. Mom says I need to work on that.

I’ll report back once Charlie arrives – maybe mom will post pictures.

Bark at ‘ya later!
