Happy 1st Birthday ANGEL!!!

I can't believe Angel is already ONE year old.. wow this is my Mom's dog and time has gone by fast. I've grown to LOVE Angel very much. Though I see her every month or so. But I will be soon be moving much closer to them. I am SOOO HAPPY for my Mother, so glad she decided to allow my sisters to give her Angel. I've seen how much Angel brings her joy, pride & love!!
Also My Mom goes out for walks with her all the time.. so that is good for my mother as well.

Angel's Sight

We have discovered that Angel has diminished eye sight. Angel was always extra weary. We play a "game" with our dogs with their food. We toss piece by piece and the dog must run after it or search for it. They have lots of fun doing it. Well we noticed that if it a piece of dog kibble was thrown even 2 inches away from Angel she had no idea where it went.. and she would go off searching, but by sniffing back and forth all over. She used her nose alot more then most Chihuahua's do. And when she could hear the kibble on hard floors she then would go running towards the noise. Through other "testing" we knew she couldn't see as well. Also the way she would react to people & my dogs.. for instants.. I would come in my Mothers room in the morning (or night) and Angel would seem to see me.. but would growl and bark.. until I came directly up close to her.. and calmed her down. So My Mother took her to the Vet and the vet said she's blind. Well there was no official test.. but we know she's not fully blind. Another vet said yes she has bad eye sight.. so we are finding out about getting some testing done, have to go to a specialist. Hopefully this isn't something that will get worse. Love that little Angel girl!
