Thank you to all those who asked about my little guy! Seems he's had a stroke, but after a stay at the vets and lots of pills, he's on the mend. Not 100%, but we'll take what we can get just to have him for a bit longer. He's back to being alert and perky and WALKING! He now has a droopy eye and looks almost like he is winking at you :)

UGH! It's worse than having a child worrying about a fur baby! Thanks again for all the concern!

trip to the vet

Unfortunatly little man got his trip to the vet...

He's been really lathargic for two days much so that I've had to carry him up the stairs. After going outside yesterday, his back legs stopped working..they would cross and he'd start to fall over. Got in into the vets and right away, she said it looks to be neuorological since his legs won't uncross and he has little reflex in one side and only a fraction on the other...

After a thorough check up, she also found his lymphnodes in the front swollen. They are sending some tissue samples off to a lab to have analyzed to see if he also has lymphoma. She feels his best treatment is to get him walking again , so he's staying at the vets and they are putting a catheater in to give him steroids.Unfortunatly with steroids they won't give him chemo if he does have lymphoma. She said right now it's about his quality of live...not quantity.

I knew the day would come when I'd have to say good bye to my little baby, I just didn't want it to be this soon,,please keep him in your prayers and hold your own little baby close.

I never get invited along...Mom and Dad got out the pink harness today for the chubby bully sister of mine...I looked as sweet as pie and they still wouldn't take me along! Then when they came home...she smelled like french fries! she had to get a bunch of needles stuck in her rump at the vet, but she got FRENCH FRIES and I DIDN'T!!!! Maybe next time I can sneek if she needs any french fries...
