Arrival Story:
I got Eli from somebody on craigslist who needed to get rid of him in order to save money for a condo. I am his third owner (not including the breeder), and he is only 1.5 years old. He is still incredibly sweet despite being passed around so much. I always thought I didn't have enough room in my apartment for a dog, but Eli is only 4.8 pounds and fits here very nicely.

Eli is is going to be the new face of the 2007 Milkbone Small Dog Biscuits! http://www.milkbone.com/famous. Thanks so much for all the votes!!! He is a sweet little guy and will look cute on the box cover.
Eli also just won Best New York Tails Contest and will be featured on the cover of the Winter Edition of New York Tails Magazine and will be a guest of honor on their float in the Halloween Parade in the Village! Eli was recently crowned Prom King at the Tompkins Square Park Prom, and also placed second on the costume contest at L'Oreal's dog fair to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Eli raised $1101.76 for the American Cancer Society Dogwalk in Riverside park, where he also won "Best Costume" for his Dr. Eli outfit, and was a finalist in the "Look Alike" contest. He also raised $150 for the ASPCA Dogwalk in June. Eli recently won the "Barking Beauty Pageant" which was held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, and because of his victory will soon be featured in New York Dog Magazine. He won "Most Fashionable" at the Prospect Park FIDO Flaunt in June 2006. He also won second place in his first race at the Petco Chihuahua Races in August 2005. He made it to the finals, but didn't win. In October, he won Third Place in PetSnap's Halloween Photo Contest, and is featured on their website, modelling the Starbarks pet bed. Eli is also Mr. October in the 2006 Canine Ranch Calendar. He has a line of Eli Art t-shirts, buttons,mugs and other paraphernalia at cafepress, which Steve Feron, of Steve Feron Productions, created for him (see the Andy Warhol art picture) . He's a very well rounded little guy!
