Squeaky toys, scritchy scratches, cuddling under the covers, treats, female dogs, flossies
He doesn't like it when male dogs get amorous with him
His squeaky bird
He loves to run in the hall of the apartment building
Doing tarot readings, magic card tricks, shy guy, roll over, jumping into his car.
I got Eli from somebody on craigslist who needed to get rid of him in order to save money for a condo. I am his third owner (not including the breeder), and he was only 1.5 years old. He is still incredibly sweet despite being passed around so much. I always thought I didn't have enough room in my apartment for a dog, but Eli is only 4.8 pounds and fits here very nicely.

Despite a rocky start at two different homes before he was rescued by Karen through Craiglist, Eli quickly rose to fame after winning the Milk-Bone "Make Your and Your Dog Famous" Contest which landed him on the cover of the 2007-2008 Milk-Bone Small Dog Biscuit box. A veteran contest winner, his many triumphs include the 2006 Barking Beauty Pageant, the 2006 Best New York Tails Contest, Grand Prize at the 2007 Macy's Petacular, the 2007 Times Square Masquerade Winner, "Most Smoochable Pooch (New York State)" in the 2007 Kibbles 'n Bits cover dog search, "Best in Show" at Animal Fair Magazine's 2008 Canine Comedy, "New York Celebrity Dog 2008" at the 2009 Pre-Westminster Fashion Show, and a "Red Carpet Performance" Award at the 2007 NSAL DogCatemy Awards.

Eli and Karen are also regulars at fundraisers for animal shelters and human causes. Together they have raised $12,000 for the American Cancer Society through participating in their annual dog walks, have been celebrity guests at the National Eating Disorder Association Walk, and participated in the AIDS walk and Scleroderma Walk in 2011. Karen and Eli have also been on committees for several animal fundraising events, including the Bideawee Gala, NYC 4 ACC fundraisers and Last Chance for Animals Annual Gala.
