I was volunteering in a shelter and a family came in with Maggie. She had had four owners and was totally misunderstood. She came home with me that night and has been with us for 8 years. They should call Pugs "luvbugs".
Sweetest girl in the world and a total dream with kids.
Bio:
She has done some animal assisted therapy in MD. She misses her best friend Sushi the golden who crossed the rainbow bridge in May. They were best buds. Trooper is lots of fun but wants to play bitey face all the time. Maybe someday he will give her the spa treatment and lick her ears the way Sush used to do.
Maggie crossed the bridge on Aug 13, 2007. What a sad day.
We miss her so much, but know she is not in pain anymore.
She will always be our "sweetest little girl".

Thanks to all my puggy friends who have given me prezzies today. Gosh I would have been 14. It is so different at our house with no "lapdog". The goldens try, they hang out by moms feet but no snorting and warm puggy kisses, well you pug owners know about that.
Just want you all to know the mom appreciates you ALL thinking of me.

I really wasn't much of a outdoor girl, most of the time it was too hot, I didn't care to get my feet wet. I did like to stalk the tomatoes in the garden....yummo.
Today mom and dad placed me in the garden with my BFF Sushi. Together we can watch over our family and enjoy the sounds of the birds in the trees and the gentle breezes. Maybe I can get a scent of a tomato plant or two from the veggie garden next door.
