Arrival Story:
We were young and not ready for a dog, but I went to the SPCA and we were looking at all the dogs that were barking and jumping for our attention. They were all a little much. We turned to leave and saw a young, quiet black lab looking 1/2 scared to death behind us. We took her for a walk & took her home for good!
Bio:
Bronte came from the Oakland SPCA. She now lives in Seattle where she lords over every other dog she meets. She is the queen & she'll bark until you understand that she's in charge...and she might keep barking even after its clear you understand. Bronte was trained in barking by Laura, a Skipperkee-Sheltie who also taught her the finer points of cracking walnuts.
