Anything any one else has, preferably a squeeky one.
Favorite Food:
Science Diet Large Breed Senior, Greenies, Hill's Prescription Diet t/d (great treats for teeth), & ice.
Favorite Walk:
To the mail box, the dog park, & Dumont, CA (sand dunes).
Best Tricks:
Heel without a leash, she's sooo loyal.
Arrival Story:
We wanted to get another big dog & had done some reasearch on a few breeds...the Great Dane sounded like such a great breed to have. We looked in the paper for a local breeder for months, with no luck. We went to the local Starbucks every morning (wich is where we looked in the paper), & often there was a puppy merle Dane there, wich made us want one even more. One day our search paid off & there was a litter in the paper! We went immediately to look @ them, although they wouldn't be ready to go home until the following day. We had our mind set on a female, & fell in love with not only Dayna (Megan @ the time), but also her sibling Diesel (Powder @ the time). We picked Dayna because she was so curious to what we were doing, the first to eat when it was lunch time, the first one to wake up (& ready to play!), and the last one to go to sleep (couldn't stop playing!). She was so healthy, smart, & noble looking...definately the alpha female! She is sooo loyal to me, & very smart to learn new tricks. Dayna got Parvo @ about 3 months, in the middle of her ear cropping. Knowing how deadly Parvo is, the vet didn't think she would make it. I knew how strong she was, & sure enough she pulled through & has been the healthiest dog I've had since her sickness. I will always have a Dane in my house!

Happy Birthday Dayna Girl! We're thinking of you & Diesel on your special day, we miss your birthday cakes. It's Daddy's birthday today too and I'm celebrating for you too. Love & Miss you so so so much, Mommy & Daddy.
