ANY squeeky toy...and he squeeks them non-stop.
Favorite Food:
Science Diet Large Breed Senior, Greenies, Hill's Prescription Diet t/d (great to be used as a treat for teeth), & ice.
Favorite Walk:
To the mail box, dog park, & Dumont, CA (sand dunes).
Best Tricks:
Giving kisses (he uses just the tip of his tongue) & speak because he has such a loud, deep bark. He's so big that he hates sittting for a treat, but loves to speak!
Arrival Story:
We wanted to get another big dog & had done some reasearch on a few breeds...the Great Dane sounded like such a great breed to have. We looked in the paper for a local breeder for months, with no luck. We went to the local Starbucks every morning (wich is where we looked in the paper), & often there was a puppy merle Dane there, wich made us want one even more. One day our search paid off & there was a litter in the paper! We went immediately to look @ them, although they wouldn't be ready to go home until the following day. We had our mind set on a female, but I took one look @ Diesel (Powder @ the time), & fell in love. I held him for an hour, but knew that we went there to get a female & he definately was not. We put our deposit on our alpha female (Dayna...Megan @ the time) & went home . I thought about Diesel all night long! The breeder called us the next morning & said that a lady had come to get Diesel & she wouldn't let her take him because she knew that he was meant to go home with us. We knew it would be hard raising 2 Dane puppies, but I loved him so much already we decided to take the challenge & came home with 2! I'm so glad today (although it was ALOT of work) that I got both of them because they're best friends & love each other tons. I will always have a Dane in my house!
