Arrival Story:
Mom and dad went to Petland looking at dog breeds. I was in a cage by myself, since I had kennel cough. I was 3 months old and sick...so no one wanted me. Mom had just been paid a big commission for a piece of her artwork and wanted a friend to spend time with her in her studio. When mom and dad saw me, they knew they had to get me well..so they bought me. Petland paid for my meds and vet care. Life has been grand for me since then.

Well...John and Susan finally tied the knot Nov. 25th on Cat Island..outside of Beaufort,SC. We stayed at a cool bed and breakfast that allows dogs, because I was the maid of honor. The owner of the B&B, Diann, has 2 cool dogs too and they were great fun to play with.

Diann performed the ceremony out on the patio and Susan has posted a photo of all 3 of us on the dock. I was on my best behavior and wore a pretty white bow my grandmother Pat made of me.

My mom really loves doggie faces. She just finished a cool embroidered and beaded piece about a bulldog with tea cups on his head. Here is a link to see it.

My mom made a square for a quilt that is going to be auctioned off soon for the Katrina Relief Effort. She did a dog, since she is worried about all the animals out there that need help. You can go to this link to see the quilt square.
