Quick Bio:

May 11th 1998

Beef jerky. And harassing the cat.

The cat.

Favorite Toy:
Dad's leg. (*ahem). I mean, sitting on his head.

Favorite Food:
Beef jerky. Either that or grilled top sirloin.

Favorite Walk:
Long hikes.

Best Tricks:
Poodle suspension. (You have to see it.)

Arrival Story:
Dad broke his neck mountain biking (didn't take me along on the ride, or I would have gone for help right away!), and right after he had surgery, Mom (well, she wasn't our Mom then), came too see him, and then moved into our house to take care of us (me and my 2 brothers, and the 2 evils cats... and Dad, too, I guess). About 4 weeks later, Mom also had surgery (her knee, I think), and I took really good care of her, licking her, and sitting on her lap. A bunch of time later, Mom and Dad got married - I was even in the wedding!

Last in my class in obedience school. Actually, I failed it the first time. I only passed the second time because I was going to pee on the instructor's shoes if he didn't pass me. *heehee. Despite all of that, I can be really sweet. Really. I promise!

Forums Motto:

We loved our beloved Billy last October, after battling an immune-system disorder that attacked his digestive system. It's a rare disease, but sadly, often fatal. Billy was surrounded by his family in his final moments, and was loved by all. He was active almost until the end, and had very little discomfort.

His life was too short, but we were luckier than lucky to have him in our lives.

As they say, if dogs don't go to heaven, I want to go where they go when I die.

Billy is survived by his sister TaiChi, and his brother Ben, as well as his cat-brother Bufus.

Goodbye, my little man. You'll always be loved, my little son.

Summer Again

It's summer again, and man, it's hot.

Okay, maybe it's not so much hot, as I need a haircut. Can you imagine? Me? Saying I need a haircut? Yeah, I think I'm crazy, too.

But when Mom took me on a hike the other day, I got all covered in pricky thingys from the plants. It's not my fault that I'm the perfect height for every plant on the trail. Not my fault at all. But Mom and Dad seem to think so. They spent HOURS picking the things off me. I don't know why they bothered. I'll just go out and roll in the bushes tomorrow.

But Mom said that I can't go on the trail again until I get a haircut. Because I get too hot, and because I could get prickly things in my ears. Whatever.

I wish she'd just take me to the haircut place and get it over with - it's much more of a torture to keep talking about it, and not do it.

I need beef jerky.

What's up with this?

Mom and Dad have been almost religious about taking me and Ben (TaiChi likes to walk by herself, being an old lady and all!) on hikes. Really good. And then Mom and Dad bought a motorcycle. A Harley something or other. I dunno. It's okay. But it's not like a brother or sister or something.

And now they are out, making a lot of noise, and only taking us for short hikes.

I think that if they got us a side car, all three of us could don our Doggles, and ride along with them. And we'd be the coolest poodles in the neighborhood. Dontcha think?
