The past 2 months have been very eventful for me. I took many trips. I got to go on my first trip to the Mountains at Lake Tahoe. I wrode the gondola all teh way to the top of Squaw Valley and hiked around the ski slopes at 7000+Feet. There was a little bit of snow. This was my first time to ever see snow. At one point I ventured down a ski run that had a smidge of snow on it. I couldnt stop sliding and Dad had to hike down the mountain to get me!
After Tahoe I went to meet my human grandpa and great- grandma in Ashland Oregon for Thanksgiving. Ashland takes really good care of their local trails and I was able to run around off leash. I also met my human grandpas dog Sam who was really nice to me. We were all thankful that the Best Western was such a nice hotel, and was dog friendly!
For Christmas I got to go back to Tahoe! Wow, I love that place. I am mountain dog at heart. The first hike we did was on older packed snow. It didnt feel so good on my feet. I did keep warm though, as mom bought me a nice bright orange puffer vest. I am so light we were all worried I would get lost in the snow! On our 4th day in Tahoe it snowed hard. I got to go for another hike, and wow, it was so cool. I loved frolicking in the soft powder. I bounded around like a little bunny rabbit. I also saw a fire for the first time in our cabin. I was fascinated. Great Christmas all around. Happy happy dog!
