Christmas Eve's Eve

Here it is, almost Christmas and I'm hoping for Greenies under the tree! Mom surely got me a toy or two besides that. I've been really really good, not nearly as Evil Princess as I could have been so she should have told Santa to drop a little something down the chimney too!

I'm not sure that Rocky has been all that good...after all Mom definitely caught him lifting a leg last week. Not too cool Rocks! After all that's Titus and Gizzie's department and they never get good reviews when they get caught. I swear, men are sooo dumb.

Milo's been perfect as usual the little creep. He loves everyone, even the vet after he got surgery. Makes my hair stand up when he does that "too cute for words" look. After all, I'm the Champion of Cute and no contenders are allowed.

A quiet day. Mommy was busy getting the house cleaned up for Santa and ready to decorate. I don't know that I'm all that excited about it. Furniture moves, floors get shined, then the boxes come out and the tree goes up. We haven't gotten to that part yet, so I'll fill you in on holiday strategies later. But for now it's just a lot of work and Mom never finds much time to settle in one room and let me get a decent nap! Bah! Humbug! Down with Christmas and anything else that takes her away from me...on the other paw...she's happy when she's doing that stuff, and the feeling around here is cheerful and well, festive I guess. Maybe Christmas is about more than decorations and cleaning house. Maybe it happens inside of the people. I'll think about it some more and let you know.
