Wow, mama and my page and saw how many special treats there are on there. She never realized how many wonderful friends I have. It's totally pawsome and we appreciate each and every one of you.

Thanks for the lovely rosettes.

Doing guardian angel duty...

Me and my guy, Bud Lee, are doing double duty as guardian angels while Bud Lee's mama moves to Montana. He says she's going to finally let his ashes fly free once she finds the right place there for him. We know that Bud Lee will always be close to her heart.

Dear diary and Dogster pals,

I've found my sweet boy - Bud Lee, another pit bull doggie. What a sweetheart he is. Not only is he handsome, he's tie-dyed, just like me. We like to meet up at the Cafe at the Bridge and share shakes and run the meadows by the light of the moon. He is right, the best things are worth waiting for!

Lou Lou, I miss you. I miss the times you knocked me over in joy when I came home from a long day at work. I miss playing ball and tug-of-war with you. I miss your soulful eyes looking at me full of love. I miss our snuggles and lovies. You will be forever in my heart.

I'm so gratified by the lovely comments and offers of 'doggie pals' in the few days Rokki's picture has been on Dogster. What a wonderful bunch of dogs and people here.

When I lost Rokki in 2003, I thought my heart would break. She'd been my companion and partner in everything for almost 13 years. If she were still with me she would be sitting right by my feet and I could read aloud the messages and show her the pictures of her new pals. She would have liked nothing better than to have a good run with the bunch of you in the park or out at the beach.

What I do wish is that we had gotten Ziggy sooner so Rokki could have enjoyed a friend. If you have room in your home and in your heart, adopt a dog from your local shelter and give him or her a forever home.
