 Quick Bio:
Likes: lots of attention from people

Pet-Peeves: going to the vet, vacuum cleaner noise

Favorite Food: scrambled eggs, rice krispies, and dog treats

Favorite Walk: anywhere we want to go

Arrival Story: Sadie came from the Capital Area Humane Society in Lansing. My husband, Dan, is a truck driver and he heard about her on a radio show which features a pet from CAHS every week, so we drove out there that weekend to see her. We brought Libby along to make sure they would get along, and they did.

Bio: Sadie became known as "the nose" after we had a card party at our house. She likes to get attention by pressing her cold, wet nose to you; our friends were warned. One of our friends was just sitting there, studying his cards intently. Suddenly, he let out a yell and jumped out of his chair; then he said, "So that's the nose I was warned about!"

Mom took me to the Grosse Pointe Santa Parade! We walked in the parade with a bunch of golden retrievers from the Golden Retriever Rescue of Michigan. It was very exciting, and I got lots of attention from kids watching the parade. When the marching bands started banging the big drums, I started bouncing around. We had to leave Libby home, because her arthritis has been acting up lately, and Dad stayed home, because he wasn't feeling well. I wish they could have come along - we all went together last year.
