Giving Kisses!!! Stalking Haley. Annoying Ferrous and Cass. Eating. Riding in the Truck. Hanging out with Mom and the Horses. Chasing the barn cats. Hehehe...
Not going everywhere with Mom and Dad. When I'm not getting all the attention! It's all about me me me!
Anything that can be chewed on! Especially cheese filled bones! Anything soft and stuffed that I can unstuff!
Doggy bagels! Biscuits. Snausages. And anything else that's edible.
Anywhere mom and dad goes.
I am the best speaker! Not hard to imagine since I have TONS of things to say.
My dad took my mom to the San Francisco SPCA where they saw me in my pen. They took me into the "visiting room" where I won them over with my charm. They took me home that very afternoon! And I moved in with my older brother and older sister, Ferrous and Haley.
I had been adopted by two previous families. The first one had cats and we did not get along! I don't know why. I just wanted to play with them! And the next family, who called me "Rosco," brought me back to the SPCA because they said I was food aggresive with their other dog! The great people at the SPCA worked with me and never saw the behavior so they put me back up for adoption and that's when my family found me! And I have been the utmost model of good behavior (well, other than chasing the barn cats up the trees...).

I have been relegated to crate rest yet again. The vet thinks that I have a bulge in my lumbarsacral disc. They are treating me cautiously with steroids to bring down the inflammation. Hopefully this will be effective and I will not require surgery (again! at least it's not my knee this time...). I am not presenting with terrible neurologic symptoms at this time. My parents were concerned when my tail started drooping and I started to refuse to go up and down the stairs. My regular vets thought I had a muscle spasm and put me on muscle relaxants and rimadyl. But to be safe they scheduled me with my surgeon. She took x-rays and spoke with the radiologist. That's where they think they see a possible narrowing of my disc space. I am a fighter though and I am sure I will be fine.
Please wish me well!

So, four months ago I was diagnosed with oral mast cell tumors. They were removed and found to be Grade II (much to the relief of my humans.). The surgery left me with a crooked nose (pictures to come soon) but that's okay. I'm beautiful no matter what!
This past Monday I had my four-month follow-up appointment and got the all clear! Three cheers for me! If I'm all clear at nine months than I am considered cured!

You should have seen the look on my mom's face yesterday! She was cleaning up after the horses and was so happy that I was "being a good girl" by sitting quietly on the porch. When her back was turned I smelled it. Deer droppings. The perfect thing to hide my scent with! (You see, I am trying to fulfill my goal of catching one of the barn cats unaware...) So I quietly stood up and creeped over to the prized spot on the lawn. I then flopped to my back and with reckless abandon rolled and rolled in the glorious scent of deer droppings! That was until mom turned around and saw me! She was absolutely livid. And my behavior resulted in a very thorough bath. But it was worth it. For one glorious moment I was that much closer to attaining my dream! I will sneak up on those cats one day...
