Arrival Story:
We did not have any animals prior to Darcy. We had researched Westies for a few years and decided that when the day was right, that was the breed we would evenutally get. We went into a local PetSmart where we frequent just to "see" who is available for adoption. The most special day of course is when we found her at 7 weeks old up for adoption. She looked just like a Westie, but her coloring was all wrong. We talked to the volunteer who told us she was a Westie mix. We felt at that point (after already falling in love with her) that adopting was the way to go for this sweet face that needed a home! We picked her up a week later and she has been a pure joy ever since!
Bio:
Now that I've grown up a bit, I get confused for being a Cairn Terrier... which I don't mind at all. My parents call me their "Faux Cairn" because of the numerous people who comment on my georgous looks. No - I'm not vain, I'm just a Diva!

WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Guess what, guess what!!! I got a brother yesterday. He's so much fun. He still has a few things to learn like coming when momma & daddy say to. Or learning that it is okay to instigate a chase in the house with me. But overall, he's real fun. It's so nice to have a friend around the house now. I'm glad I won't be so lonely anymore.

Daddy is out of town for business and it's time to PARTY!!!!! Now if only I can find a way to kick mommy out of the house so I can have it alllllllll to myself! I hope Daddy doesn't read this while he's out of town!

Well, I guess it's been spring & summer fever around here with all the nice weather. I've met SO many boys around the neighborhood... I'm beginning to wonder if I'm the only girl dog on my street. I have 2 main boyfriends who I love dearly. Zeus the double dapple Dachshund is my play mate and main source of entertainment! Baxter the mutt (Neufie/Lab/Collie) some sort of mix is my soul mate... at a whopping 120 lbs. I love the warmer weather to be outside more often and be with my 2 main squeezes!
