Woo Hoo!

My my it's been awhile since I wrote in my doggone diary! Lots of changes have happened on Dogster... me likes it! So a few new things have happened since I wrote a few years ago. Mommy and me moved back to her home state. We live in a townhouse... of course she pays for it, but it's my dog pad. She just doesn't know that so don't tell her! I also got to see my Sissy before she went to doggy heaven. She was kinda quiet, though. She never wanted to play with me, but that's ok. I still had fun seeing her while I could. Hmm... what else... Mommy took me to the groomers the other day. I love them. They're so nice to me. They never want to give me back to Mommy, though. It makes them sad. :( I get a monkey butt cut, whatever that means. But anyway, it's time for my beauty sleep, so I gotta run for now. Woof!

Gonzo AKA Bebe Dog!!!

Woof! I'm at Daddy's house this week and man am I having fun! Daddy left some Blow Pops on his nightstand and I ate 'em all on his bed. He told Mommy on the phone I left sticky stuff all over the bed. Hehehehehehehehe! Oooooh and like two weeks ago Daddy left an 8-pack of Bazooka gum on Mommy's nightstand and I ate all of that, too. I don't know what it is with me and this gum thing, but it's just so good! Oh well.

Mommy doesn't think I'm gonna like her after today. Something about a vet visit. I hate going to the vet's office. I don't like giving blood. Last time we went, they took me in the back and I howled for Mommy.

Well, not much else to write. Ooooh I am moving to Mommy's old home. Now I get to meet Bridgette, Molly, and Lillie. I get new playmates. Woof!!!

Woof, Wag, & Walk!

Man this weekend was great! Mommy, Daddy, Titus, and I went to a local SPCA dog walk. It was so much fun! Mommy gave money to the nice people and she bought me and Titus matching t-shirts. We walked around this huge lake and they had water stations throughout. I embarrassed Mommy at the first one we came up to. Titus was drinking and I went over to the cooler where they had the human water located and I tinkled on the side of it. Hehe. Mommy almost had a heart attack. It was great!

Anyway, we kept walking and everybody was saying hi to each other because of course other people and doggies were doing the same thing. It was so nice to see other doggy friends! We even got doggy ice cream (which I ended up puking later hehe). Mommy and Daddy say we ate it like we hadn't eaten before, but it was just so delicious. Even the people who gave it to us were staring over the table laughing at us. Hmph. Yeah well Titus poo'd in front of the registration table!!!! It was gross, too. It was real big and Daddy was embarrassed. He said he never saw anything that big come out of Titus' butt before. :)

Family is Fun!

Ok so I have been lazy and haven't had the energy to write much, but I forgot to mention that I saw my Grandma, Step-Grandpa, and Uncle a few weeks ago! Oh it was so much fun. I got three time the lovin'! My Grandma loved me... she gave me the most hugs. She planted some flowers for Mommy's porch and yard and stuff, so now it looks all pretty. Grandma likes the fresh air so when she would sit on the porch she would bring me along, too. It was nice. :)

Though I must mention this, Mommy and Grandma also put out a bird bath and a few odds and ends to make it look nice, but what I didn't realize is Mommy already had a black lab puppy statue that looks like he is digging in the dirt. Well she moved it near the porch and when she brushed me outside I thought it was real. I perked up to see what this stranger was doing in my yard, but when I got to it it was fake! And Mommy didn't help any - she just about rolled out of her chair. Yeah real funny... stupid human.

Oh, and Mommy's been walking around the house telling me I have a slight case of separation anxiety. I don't know what's she is talking about. All I do is get overly excited when she comes home and I've even taken drastic measures for her to notice me by getting on the A/C unit and furniture. And I will admit I dig in the bathroom trash a little more often than usual. AND I may even whine at the noises outside now (like on the hour every hour and more in between) when she's home because I just like to agitate her. But I don't think I have a problem. She says I never used to do this before but she thinks it has to do with her family leaving. I dunno. Her family ratted me out and said if I was in the bathroom or out away from the house I'd whine a lot by the door, but I think they are fibbing. I whine for love darnit!!!!

Anyway, time to get on the new comforter Mommy put on her bed. I gotta break it in sometime. :) I think she knows I got on it yesterday because I smushed in her pillows and stuff and it looked like a Gonzo butt print. Darn butt - must lose weight to prevent anymore evidence. Until my next entry, woof to Dogster!

Bored

Ok, so Mommy left me early this morning for work. Totally bored out of my mind today. But I did get lucky! I found tissue in the bathroom trash can and pulled it out and laid it all around the hallway and the living room! That was too much fun! The only non-fun part is I forgot Mommy comes home for lunch... Eh... I got in trouble then, but still worth it! Lately I haven't been hiding the fact that I lay on the furniture without Mommy's permission. She goes to take a shower and now I just lay on the couch and wait for her to come out. Sometimes I get down when she gets out because then it's our night-night time and I sleep in the same room, but then again, sometimes I just stay right there. Last night I laid on the recliner, but Mommy caught me when she was adjusting the A/C. I guess she was too tired to care. You ever notice how humans get the good stuff? Huge beds, soft couches, reclining chairs. And we get a stuffed flat thing that goes on the ground. What a rip off. We must show them we can overpower them!!! It must be conquered!!! Anyway, I'm tired again. Time to go lounge on the furniture until my Mommy gets home.

Humans are evil....

Mommy tricked me yesterday. Typical, just typical! She teased me with a cookie, but she just kept laughing b/c my facial expressions, well all I wanted was the cookie! Screw the expressions on my face! So she has it in this ziploc bag and keeps going up and down and circles and left and right and just confused me all over the place. Eventually she started to eat it, so I tried to eat it, too. Mommy wouldn't let me eat off it while she ate it, but she did give me a piece. So all's well ends well. Oh and just so everybody knows for the record, I normally don't beg at all. I am a good little boy. :) And even when I am eating my own food, Mommy can put her hand in my bowl and I don't growl or bite or anything. Yeah - I got her wrapped around my finger alright. I'm not OLD!

Ok so yeah, February is my birth month. I am officially 5 years old now. Mommy was petting me a few days ago and she looks at my eyes and says, "Your eyelashes are white... you're getting old." No I'm not!!! I'm at the prime of my life! She thinks that since I got a few white hairs on my eye lashes and above my eyes I'm old. I love my age. I get to sleep in, I get to lay all over her bed when she isn't home (haha!), I get treats all the time, and I even make her walk me around the neighborhood. That's right... I've got it made. I guess you could call me a prince. Yeah that sounds good, a prince! Well, this weekend was rather lazy. It rained most of the weekend so we stayed indoors quite a bit. I hated that dreadful rain; I had to pee in the most unpredicted spot that I never pee at! Just so I could get back in the house! *Sigh* A dog's life eh? Well, until another entry, woof to Dogster!

Sad but OK

Well, not too much to talk about today. We had wonderful weather; Mommy opened the windows. We had a good weekend, very relaxing. We gave Rini to a better home - hopefully she will continue to be the great little doggy friend she was to us. It's sad.. Mommy took it worse than me. I think I bark for me and Mommy when I say that we wish her the best in her new, adventerous life, and hope she lives to enjoy it to the fullest. We will miss you Rini.

Tae-Bo What??

Ok I have to write this down just so I can sort this out for myself and maybe receive some clarification. First off, Mommy is on some rampage about getting tone again and went out and bought a DVD with something on it called Tae-Bo. Ok I'm all about that, but what I don't get is why she has to jump around all over the living room like a crazy banchee.

Do you know that she even uses two of my squeaker balls for her exercises b/c she doesn't have the 'Tae-Bo balls'? I mean I understand that now, but geesh when she first grabbed them I thought she was trying to play with me, so I get up there all excited, barking around, like 'Sweet, Mommy's gonna play!' But what does she do? She almost kicks me! Apparantly this dude on the tube wants her to kick and punch around the house like a weirdo to get a workout. Man if I only had a video to record her. It is very humorous I must say.

So anyway, not too much else is happenin'. Just hangin' out on this cold Friday afternoon. We gotta go pick up this little rascal that Mommy and I are fostering tomorrow. All I gotta say is I got nothin' but love for her, but she better not sleep with me. I'll be sure to give you an earful of an update about this situation on Monday.

Humility is the word....

*Sigh* I sometimes think I was brought to this Earth by God to humor my Mother. Really, I think that is my soul purpose in life. I am truly convinced.

You see, this weekend was wonderful. We went to Daddy's. I even got to sleep on the bed. Low and behold I knew something would happen. It was just too good to be true.

There I was, laying on the side of Mommy on the bed, probably 2 inches away from the edge of the bed. Then we start playing and I get so excited that I roll on my back, but that's when it happened. Just as I roll onto my back, I go tumbling down to the floor. Oh Mommy thought this was the most hilarious thing she had ever seen. I can only imagine. 4 paws sticking straight up while I tumble to the floor. Yeah, what a riot. Needless to say, I was the talk of the rest of the day. Grrrrr.

We came home early in the afternoon yesterday. Mommy put up this wretched looking green thing that stands up in the shape of a triangle. It has these different colored lights and shiny things all over it. I personally slept the entire time; things like this just bore me. Now we have lights on the windows. And I watched Mommy as she stood on a stool outside trying to put up more lights but to no avail, so she came back in in a rather stumped mood. I have a feeling that last night wasn't the end to the escapade outside. I will keep you updated.

Oh, I also have this red and white necklace type thing on my neck now. It has jingles on it, too, but I like it. Mommy got it last year, and I thought it showed off my pretty mane. So she put it on me yesterday and I got so excited! I just love my jingles!

Well, off to go sniff the presents under the tree and sleep on the Christmas decoration pillows on the couch. Until another entry, Woof Woof! Dogster rules!
