I almost hit Abby in the middle of the road in the mountains of eastern Tennessee. She was VERY pregnant, and alone. I asked around, and she had been stray for the past 5 months, wandering the roads and mountains begging for food. They asked me to take her, so we did. Her puppies were all adopted, but we just couldn't let her go!
