Another vet visit

We went to the vet today to recheck my teeth and to get the vet to look at a lump at the top of my hind leg. The lump was an abscess and the vet said there was a small puncture there. He drained it and I'm on antibiotics for the next two weeks. While we were in the waiting room my mom felt a lump on my head and when she looked it was a tick. Yuck. Now my mom feels guilty for missing a wound and a tick. All these vet visits are making me wonder if I'm getting old and my body is starting to fall apart. Either that or my mom is getting old and needs to step it up a bit. Either way hopefully I can get a lot of guilt treats for this. Bol.

After the Vet

Well I got my teeth cleaned yesterday and thet are all nicy and shiny white now. The vet said there were no problems so I didn't lose any. Whew, that's good. I had my front legs x-rayed and I have some arthritis in them which probably caused my limping last week. I am not limping any more so I guess the Metacam worked. The vet thinks I probably did something to my legs when I was a pup but my mom wouldn't know about that. So the news wasn't too bad but that didn't let my mom off the hook. I gave her the cold shoulder, actually I turned my bum to her all last night and gave her the best glare I could manage every time she came near me. I cuddled up to my dad though. That will teach her to take me to the vet and leave me there. I had to be nice this morning though because I wanted a treat and a walk. Besides being mad is hard work.

The Vet Again

I went to the vet a couple of weeks ago for my regular checkup and shots. Everything was fine and I even behaved myself and didn't growl at the vet. I did let a couple of large dogs in the waiting room know that I wanted to be the boss but that isn't really bad, that's just me. Late last week I started to limp a bit. First my mom thought I had just done something while jumping but by Friday I was whimpering when I stepped on my front leg so it was back to the vet for me. I heard my mom tell them I was a bit of a drama queen but she wanted it looked at. She was shaking her head when we arrived at the vet's Friday after lunch and I walked perfectly normally with no problem. The vet checked me anyway and thought there might be a problem with my elbow so she gave me a medication. Now I have to go back this Thursday for a teeth cleaning. I heard my mom tell my dad she would ask them to x-ray my leg while I'm under. I guess that's a good thing but what will I be under? I hope that's it for me. Three visits in two weeks is quite enough.
