Arrival Story: Pepper was found a stray on a busy highway on a rainy day. He was blinded by cataracts and his teeth were awful. He was rescued and brought to a vet. He was brought back to health by a loving rescue family. Pepper was up for adoption and when we met the little guy, we simply fell in love with him. His purpose in life is to give kisses.
Bio: On June 1st, 2005, Pepper went through surgery to have the cataracts removed. It's been a tedious few weeks and now, he's got his eyesight back. Since then, Pepper the 13-year old PUP is ruling the household! He is having fun and brings us a lot of joy.
Pepper was allowed to be in your face, but nobody was allowed to be in his! He was a busy body and walked and snooped around all day. He loved to go out for a walk and trottle around. That's why we called him "Buns of Steel"

On that April day, when the rain was pouring, we found you wandering on a very busy highway. You were blind, had horrible teeth and were hungry. When we picked you up, the first thing you did was give us kisses. You had just imprinted your paw on my heart.
We adopted you at the young age of 11 and you had cataract surgery. I will always remember the day you came out of the hospital and you could finally hear AND see me. You were so happy and covered me with kisses. That was worth millions. You were my shadow Pepper Boy, a busy body, following me around everywhere I went. All you wanted was to be with mom and to eat!
We adored you and affectionately nicknamed you "Buns of Steel", as you would walk around and followed me constantly. You were the most lovable and loving boy. On September 24, 2007, you told it was time for you to go and join your siblings sisters Silky, Sheree, Precious, Suyin and Onyx.
Could you believe I still hear you bark for food, Pepper? I do. I miss my Pepper Boy. We will be together again and you will follow me around forever my boy.
OMD! My siblings and myself had a pawty for the New Year yesterday. There was quite a bunch of us furiends and we danced and ran ourselves out of breath. The food was wonderful; the BBQ was red hot and steaks were sizzling! Oooohhhh! The apetizing smell of steak... and bones and potatoes.
We still took a few minutes to check out and watch over our living siblings and mom down on Earth. Their day was quiet and relaxing. They would have been amazed at all the fun that was going on across our side of the Rainbow.
Anyhoo, we wish all of you a wonderful New Year 2008, love, health and kindness to one another.
My kidneys were shutting down and mama was told I had a brain tumor. My heart was so tired and I had several seizures this weekend. This morning mom took me to my daily visit to the vet and I gave her a sign that I didn't want this anymore. The vet helped me cross the Bridge and I was in mama's arms the whole time. I joined Silky, Sheree, Precious, Suyin, Onyx and Panda, my angels siblings at the Bridge, very quietly in my mom loving arms.
Don't cry mom, I will always be with you. I love you.
