Likes: hikes, walks, tummy-rubs, duck, peanut butter, tofu, apples
Pet-Peeves: 1) I SEEM to love dog parks but really I hate them, because the unknown dogs make me nervous and I fight too hard; 2) bickering cat-housemates - they fight alot and it makes me whine; 3) unexpected explosions (and to a dog, they're ALL unexpected)
Favorite Toy: Bees! Birds! Squirrels! (The Hide-a-Toy, not the real ones)
Favorite Food: Kong with cheese or peanut butter, Wellness dog food, raw meat, and now I LOOOVE Preference dehydrated food by The Honest Kitchen. Carrots. Apples. It's funny when I chew apples.
Favorite Walk: The Oregon Coast. I even love it when Mommy walks me to Healthy Pets NW. They give me cookies.
Best Tricks: catching treats in his mouth, shake, high-five, "trained seal".
Arrival Story: Mom was searching and thinking about what kind of dog she wanted. She has 2 cats she loves so much, so the dog she got had to be at least tolerant of felines. She is a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society, and one day she happened upon me - I'm a little bigger than she thought she wanted, not a jumpy affection freak, but I must admit I'm well behaved and chilled out (except for the occasional nervous yelp). Well, I turned about to be her best little friend (as well as her cats Eleanor and Simy who cuddle her every night. Adam, my Dad, loves me so much too!!
Bio: I was only in the shelter for a week because my owners were only temporary and my original Person - their son - had to give me to them for some reason; Mom will never know. Point is, I was only given up because I wasn't their dog, and I guess I kinda crowded their 2 dog/2 cat family. Now I live with Mariel and Adam and my cat friends!
Mom's note: I want to thank the Oregon Humane Society. They are a great organization all animal lovers should supportI am a laid back dog, and very smart. I can do lots of neat tricks and know all the basic commands. But, I struggle with separation anxiety, and can not be trusted with unknown dogs. Mom wants to save up to go to Reactive Rover Dog Training class because I've been in too many fights with other dogs. I used to go to the dog park but it is not a good place for me because the other dogs get on my nerves.

Woof! Another Thanksgiving for me and Mariel and Adam! This time we're going down to see Mariel's parents in Napa, CA. I will try to be good in the car, but I get so nervous!
I will miss Mom again as she leaves on another trip. This is one for work, so I can't go, because she says normally I will get to go with her! I'm so excited! But I'm sad she'll be gone for five whole days!
We might even go to the coast soon! Yay, Oregon Coast!
