Diesel put up a hard fight with cancer. He lasted longer than my husband and I could have hoped for.

He was with us through Christmas, so family could say their good byes and give us one more final new year celebration.

He was one of those dogs that never really stood out as being overly bad. The kind you remember for eating your shoes, though he was guilty of a few, or picking through the garbage, though again he did get caught once or twice...He was just Diesel...

Gentile from start to finish, never a bite or mean bone in his body. He was one of a few who took everything in stride. His last few years were hard on him from prostate problems to complications after routine surgeries.

He is one pup our family can say was always there for you to cuddle with or toss a ball...just don't expect him to bring it back all the

I know he has friends and family that were waiting for him on rainbow bridge. It's their turn to take care of him now.

All our love.....

Has been ages since our last entry...but unfortunately Diesel has not been doing well. With a mass growing in his tummy, and kidney problems...He is on his last days maybe week or two.

We are using this time to say good bye, and pamper him in his last days. The sky is the limit, he dines on beef, chicken breasts and what ever makes his mouth water.

It will be sad to see him go. I had hopped he would live a longer life like our other dog Nicky. Perhaps that spoiled us because she lived well over 15 years.

Our next post will be our last for Diesel.
Big wet kisses from him to everyone.

They left

Guess what my grand parents have moved away. Mommy and daddy helped with the move, they were gone a long time. But I did get to spend time with granddad and Curtis (mommies brother) before they left. They doggie sat us for over a week.

I like it when they visit because I have a bottomless pit for a tummy and they feed me lots of good stuff mommy would not give me. They also forget to close doors so Nick, Jade and I got to eat garbage and chew on a few of those no no’s.

I will miss them a lot and the wonderful food and gifts they would bring when visiting. I hope grandma will still send me some good cookies at Christmas.

Oh and Nick had us act really badly when granddad and Curtis left. This other girl came to our house to doggie sit and we did our best to drive her off so mommy and daddy would come back. She was nice but Nick said the only way to get our family back was to send her packing. Jade chewed up whatever she could find while Nick did her pee on the floor. As for me I tried to put as much of a fur mess all over the place. I even got into mommy and daddy’s bed to the point were the bed was covered in my fur. Daddy even vacuumed the bed off before he changed the sheets when he got home there was that much fur.

Well I should go now, I think I need a belly rub.
