Hi!
Guess what? I met an angel dog on the very day I got to heaven, and we got to talking. I told him all about my family back on earth, and he said he couldn't WAIT to meet them.
Turns out he was going to be born on earth that very day I left it, and I arranged to have Mom meet him yesterday. He is now part of the family. He is only a baby dog, but I'm sure he will have lots of fun there in the mountains.
I don't think I'd better arrange any more meetings, though. I sure felt sorry for Mom, getting up every hour last night to take Jefferson to the bathroom.
I'll try to help potty train him, but it might be difficult from way up here!

I'm told by my Mom's prayers that my brother Jesse's new brother Gunner is in trouble--he has severe hip dysplasia.
I'm keeping a special eye on him, and Gunners brother Pasha is doing the same. We're also putting in a good word for him with the man upstairs.
Gunner is a very young dog to be going through these troubles.
We're going to send him our very best good wishes, and lots of fun times to boot!

I was so worried about how Mom would do when my ashes were returned, but she was really ok. She calls them "Angel Dust" and keeps them in a box on her nightstand. This weekend she will go pick out something special, but I wish she wouldn't go to the trouble.
Bob and I have been roaming all over, getting into mischief and having a ball.
Christmas in heaven is beyond anything you could ever hope to see, so it may be a while before I can tear myself away to write.
Have a great Christmas, everyone!

Hi everyone!
Just for kicks, I'm sending some snow down to North Carolina. We learned this at angel dog school yesterday. You see, all you have to do is go to the North Pole and pee...well, I can't really give away all the secrets!
I didn't like snow when I lived in Michigan, so I will just send a little to North Carolina for practice. Most dogs send all the snow up north!
I met Pasha, guardian angel dog to Jesse in Wisconsin. He and Bob and I are traveling quite a bit..Bob has been here longest and knows his way around. He even knows where Chicken Heaven is, but says I sent too many chickens there, and they probably won't allow me to go there!
Miss you Mom! Be good, Jake and Ben!

I'm so proud of my Mom!
She called the medical director of the animal ER where I was seen for my last illness and misdiagnosed. She did not get hysterical or try to lay blame--she simply went over what happened calmly, and the medical director has put some new practices into effect to try to prevent this from happening to another pet.
I have been hanging around the house at night...I set off the motion detector the other night and made Ben and Jake go crazy for about an hour! Mom just said "Ok, George...knock it off". This being an angel dog is turning out to be a bit of fun!

Well, it seems as though I have some new digs (sorry, no pun intended!)
I can hardly remember what happened Sunday night, as it's all a blur of pain and misery. I remember going to my hero, Dr. Mark Thompson on Monday morning and Mom getting the bad news that what was wrong with me couldn't be fixed. I was in so much pain I couldn't really follow it all, but trusted my Mom to do what was best. She promised me that I would never feel any more pain, and would get to meet up with my late brother Bob, who passed away three years ago this spring. I was really happy to hear that, and I was ready to be out of the pain I had been in all night long.
Dr. Mark gave me one last shot and I drifted away to start on my new adventure as an angel dog.
It was sad seeing Mom crying so much, and I sent some "Woof's" down to her in the middle of the night on Monday. She heard them! She awoke out of a sound sleep and smiled, knowing I had found my way back home to be with Bob and to watch over my beloved family. From that point on, she hasn't cried--well, ok--I've seen a tear or two. But she seems better and I'm glad I don't have to worry so much about her.
Bob and I are having a great time! He has 4 legs now, and can run like the wind. His heart is all better now, too. We have all the tennis balls in the world to play with, and so many sticks are everywhere that I hardly know where to start first! I haven't found any chickens to chase yet, but heaven has EVERYTHING you want, so I know they have to be here somewhere. I love chickens!
And who knew there were computers in heaven? I'll show my brother Ben that he isn't the ONLY one who can type in the family!
I'll keep everyone posted on my new adventures. Love to all!
