New Dog on the Block

My new home is great!

Well, I'm getting setlled in to my new home with my new family, and I've gotta be honest with you, it's pretty awesome. My brother is so much fun now that he has warmed up to me a little more, and we play tug o war all the time now. I love sleeping in bed with everyone, and even though Bandit THINKS, he's got the best spot (between mom & dad), I really do, because I sleep ON Mom. She doesn't mind though, because she says I'm still soft and squishy. I met my new doctor last weekend, and I suppose she's okay, as far as doctors go. I got treated for my worms (oh, they were so icky!) and she told my Mom that I'm not drinking a ton of water because I'm sick, it's just because I'm a piggy. She told Mom that I only need water 3 or 4 times a day, and only what I need. As soon as I get a little older, she said I'll be able to have water whenever I want, but for now it's toilet lids down! I'm doing really good with my housetraining; since Mom started with the water thing, I've only had one accident, and that was because Mom wasn't apying attention. She says I'm a very smart girl, and I just need a little patience.

My brother and I go to the bark park all the time, and even though I was really scared at first (I wouldn't leave the gate), I love it now! I whine when I figure out where we're going, because I just can't wait to get out of the car!! Mom says I'm becoming quite the social butterfly, and it's always easy to find someone to run around and play with at the bark park. I've even got a cruch! His name is czar, and he's a really big rottweiler boy. He's just so cute!

Well, Mom needs to get back to work, so I'll have to tell you more later!

Hi! I'm Chloe!

Well, it's been such an exciting week for me! Just last Saturday I was at the shelter, telling my neighbors how much I would like to go to a fun home, with loving people and maybe another doggie for me to play with, and then, lucky me, this nice lady with crazy curly hair like mine (okay, a little different) came by my pen and said "this is the one!". And so began my first week in my new home with my new Mommy and Daddy and best of all, my new Big Brother, Bandit!! I love Bandit SOOOO much! He is the coolest thing ever, even cooler than Mommy's bed and all my chew toys! Mommy is introducing me to all sorts of new things while I'm still just a puppy, and I think my favorite has been the bark park. I get to run around and be the crazy puppy that I am with my brother, and I don't have to wear one of those leash things! I also really like sleeping in bed with Mommy, Daddy and Bandit, even though Mommy says it's getting a little crowded and they may have to buy us all a king size bed! I have to say, I really dig this dogster thing too! So many nice people have emailed me to say hi and welcome me! Well, time for Bandit to write in his diary, so I'm gonna go chew on his ear while he does! Woof for now!
