He loves his family and friends and is especially fond of babies. He understands perfect english - I'm convinced. Sumo is a little silly - for example - he will play so gently with a baloon and trot around with it like a goof, and when it pops, he gets so scared. He's actually climbed onto his grandmas lap and sat there for loves because he's afraid of the baloon he just popped. This dog actually sleeps with his head on a pillow and gets under the covers in our bed. He kisses his brothers goodnight with me and listens to bedtime stories - really. The Groups I'm In: Pits Are Adorable I've Been On Dogster Since:
The very first time my husband and I let my boys (at ages 3and 1) spend the night at my sisters house, Sumo was a nervous wreck. We thought we could relax a little and maybe sleep in - but no way! Sumo paced the hallway almost all night, going back and forth from the front window- to the the empty bedroom where the boys sleep- to our room where he nudged us and cried- then back up the hall again. After hours of repeating his madness he finally got up onto the bed with us where he licked us every 20 minutes or so as if to say "please go get them." We decided next time we were giong to attempt to have a little peace and relaxation - Sumo would go with the boys to Auntie's house. Finding a doggie that loves his babies like this is priceless - even though he's a little silly. My heart forever belongs to Sumo... GOOD BOY!!!
