Arrival Story:
I was doing a TV news story at one of the shelters in town. I knew going over to the shelter that this was going to be a bad idea, as I had been wanting a dog for sometime. I had even mentioned to my girlfriend earlier in the day that I had to do a story at the shelter. When I got there, I tryed walking through the rows of cages with blinders on...but it's kinda hard when you have to shoot video of those little faces. I had finished my story and was almost out of there...then I saw the little black dog. It was all over after that. I was on the phone to my girlfriend shortly after seeing little Carrot. I left work early that day so I could go back and get her. I brought my girlfriend with me the second time. We decided to save her from the shelter and bring her home. Leaving the shelter was hard, as I literally had to drag my girlfriend out of there. Now we've got our little Carrot Stick....and I can't take here back...we didn't know that she was a licker!!! It's ok though we still love her.

She had been brought in to the shelter as a stray, so we're not sure of her specific background info.
