Arrival Story:
My friend's sister-in-law had taken in the dog after it had been bounced from home to home. Everyone felt sorry for him and his situation, but no one could really keep him. He had literally been thrown out of a car window on a busy road as a puppy. We met him at my friends house when he was three months old, and had to have him.

Bio:
He got the name Reese because he is actually dark brown with a black head and wide stripe down his back. I thought he looked like a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. The name stuck. We were originally told that he was a Lab & Boxer mix. Visits to our vet though indicated that he is Lab, AST and he has additional characteristics of a Great Dane (he is tall and long compared to others his age) and German Shorthair Pointer (he is fast, lean and his tail is super long). We will never know for sure. He was a clutz when we got him, within the first three months of having him, we visited the emergency room three times. First he had whip worm, then he got bitten on the muzzle by my friends German Shepherd when the met, then he somehow tore his toenail out. His last incident was an eye infection. Knock on wood - we havent had any incidents lately!
