 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 1st 2005
Likes: Chewing, running, terrier-tearing, wrestling with sis...my person

Pet-Peeves: Being attacked by her sister, being held for too long, when her milk bowl is empty

Favorite Toy: Her sister, and a bouncy string cat toy

Favorite Food: Milk, milk, milk. Bil-Jac out of the big dogs' bowls. She found a cheeto the other day and played with it for HOURS.

Favorite Walk: Maggie's favorite walk is through the woods, under branches and trees where her person can't walk. Then she gets scared and cries like a baby.

Best Tricks: Sleeping all night, and SIT! She can sit!

Arrival Story: Little Margaret and her sister Molly were orphaned at about two and a half weeks. A neighbor came to me to see if I wanted one. She was giving them away already! She only had two left, and I snagged them, in hopes of raising them and placing them.
They were absolutely covered in fleas and were extremely wormy. Additionally, their mom had been gone a couple of days already when I got them, and they were REALLY hungry.
Maggie is a sweetheart. She had almost no sucking reflex going on, so she was fed in those earlier days with an eye-dropper. I really didn't know if she would make it...but, she's doing great!
Previous owner showed me a photo of the mother (who she said was a stray) and appears to be a purebred foxhound. She was lovely. Maggie's dad must have been a terrier of some kind. She has that little tail. And she growls a lot. THAT is some funny stuff.

Bio: Maggie is crate trained, and she's already using the papers! She has been around my two adult dogs, and her sister. I've also exposed her to the neighbor children in a very controlled manner. She has a very sweet personality, but independent like a terrier. I don't think she's going to be very big...maybe 30 lbs.?
She is chasing things now. She chased a tree frog around the deck for a while today, growling at it the whole time!
Update!! Maggie is being adopted! She's hanging out with her new family for a week just to make sure it's a good match, but they are really nice people...she will have a brother bunny and a brother kitty! These kind foks lost their 14 year old Bassett mix to cancer last year and they've been looking for the right dog. Maggie was at the vet's getting a checkup when they spotted her. (sniff, sniff) We miss her like crazy around here, but if this works out, she could just end up being the center of the universe. Who wouldn't want that for such a sweet girl?

Forums Motto: Hey, dude, where's my Cheetoh?
