Bio:
Lily... is an unexpected blessing in our family. She likes to run around the house.. trying to climb our legs in the effort of winning a hug. She whimpers and wags her tail at the sight of me coming home from work.. She is very affectionate but stubborn the least. she's the first that I see when I wake up in the morning. She loves her two best inanimate friends, named stuff1 and stuff 2. She can't sleep without them by her side. She's very young and her traits will develop as time would pass on... Lily is a very playful and hyperactive baby.

Lily's Slow Day

"its so hard to be a mummy to four happy hungry pups", I think that's an understatement whenever I see Lily cowering under our curtain. It has been a slow day for my little Lily, I can't believe how she matured after giving birth. My main problem right now is her constant hair loss. The house seems like a ghost town with furballs rolling around. Its crazy, I give her a little nip here and there to remove the knots before but gee, she looks a bit more balder now. Whenever I get home from work, Lily's always there to greet me at the door. After a short kiss she'll run to the door of my room, once in my room, she'll lie down on her back as if telling me let's sleep. I guess her day as a mummy is tiring her a lot!

Hmm.. I wish I could bring the daddy of the puppies to meet his newborns. That would be a sight huh???

Wish I was home with my furball loves!

After 2 months of anxious waiting Lily gave birth to 4 healthy puppies with yours truly as the 'assistant'. It was weird since I kept on reading and reading over the internet what to do, what signs to look for when the time comes. You know what, Lily woke me up at 2 in the morning and that was history.

I now know that if you have a special connection with your dog, no words will describe what she would want to say. Its all in the gut feel and your love for each other.

She was so gentle during the whole process. She never became mad, nor she tried to be over protective of her puppies, she trusted me to help her deliver the babies. One good tip I am passing on is that if your dog comes in between contractions slightly massage her tummy it helps her relax.

We have now the 4 cute puppies namely (in order of birth) Lex, Demitri, Cassie and Cara.

Ciao!
