Arrival Story:
Mojo was a gift from my husband. He is our second Rottie. I was able to pick him out when he was four weeks old, and we took him home when he was eight weeks old.

Bio:
I am ill with Lyme disease much of the time, and Mojo gets me out on the trail walking even when I don't want to go. He is a wonderful, intelligent, loving, obedient (most of the time!) companion. Our first Rottie, Bella, literally walked out of the woods and landed on our doorstep, half-dead. We took her to the vet immediately; she had to have surgery right away because of a uterine infection or she wouldn't have survived. It was clear from the start that she was a sweetie, even though she appears to have been used to produce puppies and then thrown away. Bella passed away from cancer the week my son was born, after having spent an all-too-short year and a half with us. When my son turned three, I realized how much I missed our sweet Rottie. We tried to get a rescue, but none in the area will adopt to families with small children. Mojo came from a very good breeder, and we are thrilled with him, but when the time comes to adopt another Rottie, we will get a rescue, as there are many out there who need a loving home and a family.
