 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: June 24th 2004
Likes: Chasing geese, watching sports on TV, me, and swimming.

Pet-Peeves: Tooth brushing, laser pointers (WHERE does the light go?) people who turn off his TV, Star Trek, unruly geese, Ripley and the aerobics exercise balls of DOOM.

Favorite Toy: If it's in my hand, it's his favorite.

Favorite Food: If I'm eating it, it's his favorite.

Favorite Walk: Walk? Surely you jest.

Best Tricks: He has a long list of tricks, but people seem to be most impressed with how well mannered and obedient he is. Doesn't matter what I tell him to do.

Arrival Story: I had always admired the breed, and when my fears were confirmed that my Pap (potential agility dog) had luxating patellas and most likely could not compete, I went on a search for an agility dog. My agility instructor just happened to breed BCs, and due to a divorce in the family, the people who were going to be taking Dakota had backed out. I met him, fell in love and brought him home about a week later.

Bio: Dakota is a goose dog: extraordinare! On a whim, we started doing some goose control work at a yacht club in North Idaho, and I was amazed at how quickly he caught on and how well he did the job. I underestimated his drive and endurance; this dog spent his days patrolling the property, just waiting for even the *sound* of a goose. He was a pro by the end of the summer, and had already begun singlehandedly training a new pup to replace him (the yacht club liked him so much, they got their own Border Collie to do the job!)
Dakota is an agility dog in training. He's phenomenally fast (too fast for me to keep up with, actually!) and took to agility immediately. He is a natural at it, and with a little refinement and more control on MY part, I expect we'll be tearing up the course pretty soon.
Dakota is my pride and joy, he's a blast to be around and that goofy grin of his can bring a smile to anyone's face. This boy is friendly to everyone, whether it is dogs, cats or people. He is well-adjusted and is confident in nearly any situation. My life wouldn't be the same without him.

Forums Motto: Borderlicious Collie!

Jobs: Goose control; basketball referee; agility maniac; trickster extraordinaire; ball collector; fun police.
