To go for rides in HIS truck, to go swimming, his Grandmas
Pet-Peeves:
touching his paws, giving him kisses, staying up past his bedtime, going for a walk, being left out of anything going on, other dogs especially small ones, motorcycles and birds. Our back yard is a "no-fly" zone for any winged creatures.
Favorite Toy:
Racquetballs and any soft furry toy that squeaks!
Favorite Food:
Chicken, and chicken flavored rawhide sticks. Hamburger. Also likes candy and popcorn.
Favorite Walk:
Bela hates to go for a walk, but if he HAS to, it would be walking on Presque Isle State Park in Erie, PA on the way to go SWIMMING!
Bio:
UPDATE 11/3/08: Bela was relieved of his suffering yesterday ((complications from degenerative myelopathy (MS for dogs) and possibly cancer)) and sent to a better place yesterday afternoon. He spent a beautiful fall day going for a long ride in his truck, having a hamburger and french fries at his favorite diner (Mel's Diner in Geneva IL) and then was compassionately ministered to at home in his bed by Dr. Sage of Animal House. He gave us 11 1/2 wonderful years of love, loyalty and devotion. He will be missed terribly but never forgotten.
Bela is a well travelled dog. Born in Michigan outside of Ann Arbor, lived in Toledo, OH, Tucson, AZ, Erie, PA and now resides comfortably in North Aurora, Il.
