I like to pretend that I can't jump up on the couch with my mommy so that she'll pick me up. That makes her feel like I really need her and she likes that.

Arrival Story:
Cooper was adopted from a breeder in the neighborhood. He was number 9 in 13 puppies! Our beloved beagle, Pokey had recently passed away after 15 wonderful years and we needed some laughter back in our household. Our golden retriever, Shaughnessy, needed a new brother, too. We knew of a friendly black cocker in our neighborhood, and as luck would have it, she had puppies! We made a phone call, took a walk up the street, and the pups were playing in their yard. The first puppy to run over and greet us was a curly, black and white little fur ball who adopted us, then we adopted him!

Bio:
Cooper loves affection and cuddling. He has the most beautiful, soulful eyes. He has a headful of curls that his mommy hates to have cut off when he's groomed. He is a momma's boy, through and through. His big brother, Shaughnessy passed away this summer after 10 fantastic years, and he's got a new little brother now, but he's still hoping to stay number one in mommy's heart. Sometimes he even pretends to like the new brother, just so mommy will think he's sweet.
